Album of The Weekend

Hey fellow bloggers, I know it's Sunday, but I needed to stop by and check out some of the insanity that materialized on our blog after posting on SpineArt on Friday.  Imagine what happens when you look under a rock?  For those that meekly attempt at berating TSB for censorship take note, as stated in the past,  there is a no tolerance rule when it comes to denigrating someone's parents, spouses or children.  With that said, let's move on to TSB's Album of the Week.

On May 22nd, Joe Bonamassa launched his baker's dozen album entitled, "Driving Towards the Daylight."  If you haven't had the opportunity to delve in Blues/Rock, this album is a must.  The title song was penned by Bonamassa and Danny "Kootch" Kortchmar formerly with The Section and the Flying Machine with a little unknown at the time named James Taylor.  JB does a remake of Willie Dixon's "I Got All You Need," with guest vocalist  Jimmy Barnes who performs a kick ass vocal on the remake of the '87 Barnes hit "Too Much Ain't Enough Love."  Who ever said that a Scottish Australian didn't have soul?  Check it out Spinebloggers.  TSB wants to know if Too Much Ain't Enough Love to Satisfy Me?

  1. OK TSB. I bought it, and must admit that I like it. Can't believe I've never heard of Joe Bonamassa. Also bought the new Walter Trout. Are you a fan of WT?

  2. A solid effort by JB as always. Looking forward to the next Black Country Communion album to hear more of his rock oriented stuff.

New Rush album comes out Tuesday!

  4. Had the privilege of seeing JB live during his last tour. As good as his albums are, the shows are even better. Try to catch him when he comes to town - you won't regret it.

  5. Is Joe Bonamassa gonna buy some Globus stock when it goes public? Album of the Week? Hopefully this is a once and done piece.

    2. Actually, I have to look left to see Rush, but what does that have to do with TSB blogging about music? It is obnoxious enough getting the lyrics at the end of every post, but for the entire post to be about music...WTF? I think MM had a few too many cervezas this weekend and got caught up in the mood and thought we gave a sh*t. For the record, I don't give a sh*t about Globus either, it was a reference to the insignificance of the post with an equally insignificant reply (some people recognize sarcasm).

    4. Scroll up to the top of the page and read the words in large white text. But I agree, lets get back to the regular program schedule, which doesn't include this post.

  6. Bonamassa will probably short Globus. Another Facebook disaster? Just look at AlphaWreck 1.68 at days end on Friday, what makes these two companies so different and don't start with Globus has innovative technology. By the way TSB, nice break from spine insanity.
