R.I.P. Michael Will

It was confirmed today that Michael Will passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012.  Mike had a stellar career with U.S.Surgical, Surgical Dynamics, Spinal Solutions/ProDisc, Synthes Spine, and Centinel Spine.  Mike leaves behind his extended family.  May his soul find peace in the hereafter.  If anyone has information regarding the funeral arrangements, please forward them to spineblogger@me.com and we will inform the rest of the medical device community.  Our sincerest condolences go out to his wife and children.  TSB.

  3. Had the honor of working with Michael during his tenure at Synthes Spine. He sure brought some excitement and innovative thinking to the stale sales management team. Was fun watching him move in that stiff culture.

  5. I was fortunate to work with Michael on several projects over the years. I always enjoyed catching up with him at all the spine/ortho annual meetings. I will miss his smile & laugh.

  6. Predeceased by his mother Marie (nee Feeman). Survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Joy D. (nee Funk); his sons Justin M. of London, England, Jamie J., and Tyler J. of Malvern and his daughter, Lindsay M. Will of Lancaster; his father, Jackson H. (Yvonne) Will; his brother, Gregory (Dawn) Will; sisters, Lori (Bill) Tyree and Lisa (Mark) Terrell, and his mother-in-law, Dorothy G. Funk. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Monday, April 16 10:30 A.M., at The St. David's Episcopal Church, 763 South Valley Forge Rd., Wayne PA 19087. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Matthew Gfeller Foundation (preventing youth sports head injuries) can be made at matthewgfellerfoundation.org.

  8. No one who knew him would ever call him Mike. It was Michael. He was a brilliant and loyal man.He was a dear friend. His family, friends, and colleagues are grieving tremendously over such a terrible loss. His memorial funeral included over 500 people, was almost four hours long; and the speakers and poems from his children were exalting. RIP Michael.
